Together with 40 strangers you enter a space. For a few hours you will experience each other, and yourselves, in different ways.
Talk or dance, perform for each other or create something together, touch and grow distant, tell secrets or tell lies.
Each event brings together up to 40 participants, taking part in a game of connections, challenging their patterns and opening possibilities to communication. Creating meaningful moments together.
The event is controlled by a unique device and algorithm developed by us, which we keep improving continually. Throughout the night you will be called to the device once every 15 minutes, alone or with other participants.
Together you will be presented with a task: a task that can lead to a deep conversation or an absurd interaction, a creative challenge or staring silently into each other's eyes.
Only you know what your task is. It's a personal challenge that no one else will know about. It’s up to you whether or how you will perform it.
Some of the tasks in the game are for the whole group to follow, but most of them will be given privately. Alone, or with another participant matched with you, the system will choose a challenge for you to follow. It is randomly chosen according to the phase of the game, and will gradually go deeper.
Everyone who wants to take part in our events has to go through a personal zoom interview by one of our team members. The interview takes about 10-15 minutes, and is designed to make sure we have diverse groups, everyone has kind intentions and understands what we're aiming for. This is also a chance for you to understand a bit more about us.And it's fun.
After a while, you wouldn’t be able to tell which part of the event around you is being controlled by the system and which isn’t. And it doesn’t matter. You will be a character in other people’s stories, and they will be in yours.
You can feel free to tell a deep secret or to dance, write or draw or just drink and watch.
It all started with a story. In Jorge L. Borges' short story The Lottery in Babylon, he describes a kingdom where everything is controlled by an all-consuming Lottery. You can be king for one day and a prisoner in the next. All the details of life in the kingdom, from the public sphere to the most intimate, were decided by chance and constantly changed.
